focusEGD Awarded Donor Recognition Project at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas

The Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas recently selected focusEGD to design a living donor recognition element for the Dallas campus. This rewarding project will recognize a notable group of people who have made a living donation of their organs to someone in need. The wall’s prominent location near the Roberts Hospital main entrance will enable the Institute to not only recognize those who have given the gift of life, but to also spread the message about organ donation. An interactive digital display will allow users the opportunity to learn more about organ donation as well as provide them the ability to instantly register to become organ donors.

Principal Oliran Johnson sees the wall’s location as a great chance to add lighting and color to an otherwise neutral space. “This wall could really create a positive effect on a visitor’s experience and perception of the hospital,” Johnson says. “Additionally, it’s a great way to recognize folks who have made a selfless decision to help others and, hopefully, inspire others to do the same.”
