Edinburg Children’s Hospital

As part of a general hospital with a standard sign system already in place, this project had the potential to be just another children’s hospital with non-children related signs. That was until artist Roark Gourley was motivated to make a difference in the lives of children. His fantastical jungle animals breathe life into a new whimsical space. The floor graphics, room signage and wayfinding elements integrate his illustrations into the building program. The holistic inspiration for the design was a child’s toy box with a jungle inside. The graphics just wanted to play along.
