Tarrant County Civil Courthouse
The 240,000 sf, 6 story court house is comprised of a blending of modern and classic architecture. The monolithic entrance of Indiana limestone and Texas granite harken to the old courthouse located a block away but modern planning allows for expanded use of the facility in the future. In keeping with the traditional use of materials, large cast metal seals and plaques adorn the interior. In addition to these features, a modern signage system utilized a complimentary color palette and simple shapesvv to conform to the judicial building’s modest interiors.
